About Us

St. Rose’s Old Students Association (ROSA) brings together all past students of St. Rose’s Senior High School, Akwatia to promote the school's welfare  and to establish mutually beneficial relationships between the school and old students.

ROSA also promotes academic, networking and social fellowship among members and also recognizes deserving members in various fields of endeavour while maintaining contact among its

members and generally seek their welfare.

Over the years, ROSA has remained an active partner in improving the school environment through infrastructure donations and installations as well

as mainting beneficial social engagements with the School’s management, academic and student bodies.

The testimony of this commitment to the welfare of St. Rose’s is evident in the numerous physical ‘monuments’ that have been readily donated to the school by Rosas. This very commitmment is what sparked the desire to ensure that our Assembly Hall, which had began to show its and frailty against the elements, did not fall into disrepair. We’re proud that Rosas around the globe joined and led the campaign to restore the Assembly Hall for the benefit of the  next generation.

Our love for St. Rose’s and Rosas’ welfare is also evident in the deep and lasting friendly and lifelong bonds that have been engendered among members constantly on the lookout for the welfare of other members and even the wider society wherever possible. ROSA members view these engagements as a means of demonstrating deep appreciation for the training received during our time in the school. Indeed many Rosas personally view the school days with a deep fondness and nostagia.

Being an active Rosa also enables members to harness the vast networking opportunity that exists within our well qalified and experienced pool of old students. Undoubtedly, every Rosa highly esteems the privilege of having been nurtured in this unique ‘family’ of achievers who serve as positive role models for the younger generation.

Long live St. Rose’s, long live Rosa!
