Dormitory Lockers

scope of works

Recognizing the legacy of wardrobe use at St. Rose’s, which instilled orderliness, cleanliness, and pride, the ROSA 2004 Year Group embarked on a legacy project to address the lack of wardrobes in newly built dormitories.

To support students in maintaining high standards of organization and hygiene, we have provided 140 metal wardrobes at an estimated cost of GHS 100,000, upgrading from wooden to metal for durability.

We take pride in this contribution and encourage a strong maintenance culture to sustain this invaluable resource.

Rebuilding the Dining Hall Annex – A Testament to Collaboration

In 2023, during Thanksgiving, seven dedicated year groups—1983 Chosen Ones, 1993 Red Commandos, 1993 Brown Pioneers, 2003 Golden Checks, 2013 Speryls, and 2013 Dahlias—came together to make a lasting impact.

With generous donor support, they successfully raised GHS 410,000.00 to rebuild the dilapidated Dining Hall Annex, easing congestion for over 1,700 students and transforming it into a multi-purpose facility for both the school and the community.

Construction began on February 15, 2024, led by contractor Freemaks. The old structure was demolished, and work progressed steadily despite inflation challenges. An additional GHS 70,000.00 was raised to bridge the funding gap, ensuring the project's completion.

Thanks to the commitment and resilience of the 2023 Anniversary Group, the Dining Hall Annex is now complete, providing students with an improved space that upholds the values of orderliness and community service at St. Rose’s.
